About

Our Story: From Traditional Farming to Sustainable Living

A journey rooted in family, farming, and a vision for a greener future.

Where It All Began

Yashoda Agro Farm was established in 2054 B.S in Chhathar Jorpati–5, Dhankuta, Nepal — a region known for its rich agricultural heritage.

Our journey began with traditional farming, led by our parents, Mohan Thapa and Yashoda Shrestha, who dedicated their lives to cultivating the land and supporting the family through agriculture.

In 2071 B.S, the farm was officially registered as an agro farm, marking the beginning of a more structured and long-term vision.

Our Turning Point

Over time, we began to notice the challenges of conventional farming — declining soil health and increasing dependency on chemical fertilizers.

In 2020, we took a bold step towards change.

We started our journey into permaculture and greenhouse farming, aiming to restore soil health, improve sustainability, and create a farming system that works in harmony with nature.

This shift marked the beginning of a new chapter — one focused on regeneration, learning, and long-term impact.

What We Are Today

Today, Yashoda Agro is more than just a farm.

We are building a system where farming, nature, and people grow together.
